- 🧅 1 small shallot, thinly sliced
- 🥄 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🥄 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🥄 1 tsp fish sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp brown sugar
- 🌿 1 cup Thai basil leaves
- 🛢️ 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 🍚 Cooked jasmine rice (for serving)
- 🍳 Fried egg (optional, for topping)
👩🍳 Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- 🧄 Sauté garlic, chilies, and shallot until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- 🍗 Add ground chicken and stir-fry until fully cooked, breaking it apart.
- 🥣 Stir in sauces: Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
- 🌿 Toss in Thai basil and stir until wilted (about 30 seconds).
- 🍽️ Serve hot over jasmine rice, topped with a fried egg if desired.
