For the Salmon:

  • 2 salmon fillets (skin-on or off)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme or parsley
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

For the Asparagus:

  • 1 bunch asparagus (trimmed)
  • 1 рдмрдбрд╝рд╛ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ рдЬреИрддреВрди рдХрд╛ рддреЗрд▓
  • рдирдордХ рдХрд╛рд▓реА рдорд┐рд░реНрдЪ
  • Optional: grated Parmesan

ЁЯМ┐ Step 1: Roast the Asparagus

  1. Preheat your oven to 425┬░F (220┬░C).
  2. Place asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss.
  3. Roast for 12тАУ15 minutes, flipping halfway. Sprinkle with Parmesan during the last 3 minutes if using.

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down (or presentation side if no skin) and sear for 3тАУ4 minutes without moving.
  4. Flip, then reduce heat slightly. Add butter, garlic, lemon zest, and herbs to the pan.
  5. Tilt the pan and spoon the melted garlic butter over the salmon for 2тАУ3 more minutes until fully cooked through.

ЁЯНЛ Step 3: Plate & Serve

  1. Plate the salmon over a bed of roasted asparagus.
  2. Spoon extra garlic butter from the pan on top and finish with fresh lemon slices.
  3. Serve immediately with rice, couscous, or crusty bread if you like.
